The Impacts of Geopolitical Risks on the Energy Sector: Micro-Level Operative Analysis in the European Union

Energy prices play a crucial role in combating geopolitical risks, especially for the major suppliers of energy resources. However, display bilateral relationship with risks any economy. Any hike price stimulates risk factors and visa-versa. The consequences adversely impact economies bring forth international tensions. This paper bridges gap between influence relating to tensions by analyzing micro-level operational measures. We deploy an empirical model predict sector possible incorporating Eurostat data on twenty-seven states, from 2011 2020. study collected different variable support multiple regression constructed “blocks” (hierarchical linear regression) method. results suggest that cause adverse effects both other corporate sectors. future direction this research is estimate how statistical relationships may assist sector, investors, adopting mitigating measures control upcoming due caused unrest.
